GATE CODE GUIDELINES
- Gate codes must be four (4) digits in length.
- Gate codes cannot
- Be an address in the community.
- Be a year (e.g., 1963, 1975, 2002).
- Contain more than one duplicate number.
- Non-Permissible Examples: 1111, 1131, 4466
- Permissible Examples: 1189, 1819, 6011
- Be easily predictable (e.g., 1234, 3333, 9876).
DIRECTORY PHONE NUMBER GUIDELINES & INSTRUCTIONS
- Only one phone number is permitted per home/unit.
- Phone numbers are not displayed in the directory. Homeowners are listed in alphabetical order by last name. The phone number you provide is the phone number that receives calls when a guest finds your name in the directory.
- You can talk to guests and, if necessary, let them in by pressing ‘9’ on your phone.
- You can also choose to have your name hidden from the directory. Please write “Hide from directory” in the Gate Directory Phone Number space below if you choose this option.
REMOTE / ACCESS DEVICE GUIDELINES
- Remotes/gate access devices come in different forms and change over time within each community.
- There is a limit of five (5) gate access devices per home/unit.
- Any devices in your possession and/or assigned to your account but not identified below will be deleted from the system.
- When providing the five (5) digit codes from your gate access devices, please note that the codes may be identified as TR numbers. If not, they will likely be the only five (5) digit number on each device. To be safe, residents are encouraged to include photos of all numbers on each device when providing/confirming gate access device information. If you do not see any numbers on a device (e.g., the decal has worn off over time), please open the device and look inside. Typically, the numbers needed to identify your device are duplicated inside of the device.
